Mega Turrican

Mega Turrican for the Sega Genesis was released in 1994 and developed by Factor 5. As Bren McGuire, leader of the Freedom Forces, you are the only hope in a crucial mission to destroy the grasp of evil represented by The Machine. A lone warrior against the evil hordes of The Machine, Bren jumps out of his ship to face the ultimate challenge. Seconds later, realizing the odds are against him, he decides to end his life sooner rather than later, and save himself the wasted time and sore muscles.
